It’s games like these that we need to pick up 3 points but as they say this was a game of two halves and I’m happy with a point. We were the best team in the first half and a mazy run and great strike by Schade (his first for the Bees) in the 18th minute sees us go 1-0 up. After the break we sat back and Palace had quite a few chances and Flekken made 3 good saves. Unfortunately, he let himself down with a shot that went through his legs in the 76th minute for their equaliser. Both sides then had some chances and the game ended 1-1.
